Quality of life is closely linked to a sense of autonomy, self-confidence, and active involvement in social life. With the intervention of a speech therapist, individuals with speech, voice, or swallowing disorders can regain their ability to express themselves, eat safely, and engage socially. During the event, participants will be able to attend bibliographies, presentations on music and art therapies, and a presentation on how to distinguish art from art therapy. Are there noticeable disparities based on place of residence (e.g., urban vs. rural)?
Do health outcomes or access to care vary by ethnic background?
Have students encountered such inequalities during clinical practice or in their home communities?
What strategies and roles can nurses adopt to help reduce inequalities and improve the quality of care for young children? |
