Description:Although mandatory, quarantine strategies partake in a substantial psychological impact, causing post-traumatic stress symptoms, anxiety, and depression. University students present a high incidence of mental disorders, making them a risk group in the current situation. We will discuss the effects of the pandemic on university student’s mental health and present the results of a cohort study on university student’s; depression and anxiety symptomatology before and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
