Setting up a section
EUPHA sections are set up either at the initiative of a group of public health professionals interested in the topic or at the initiative of EUPHA's Executive Bodies.
The process is as follows:
- If you feel a topic is missing or would like to include your topic in the EUPHA network, then contact office@eupha.org
- If EUPHA is interested, an initiative to create a section is set up. This means that the network is informed of the initiative and has the possibility to join the initiative.
- If the initiative increases in potential members and manages to organise at least one workshop at the European Public Health Conference, EUPHA can decide to go forward and create a proposed section.
- The proposed section is presented to the Governing Board for approval.
Please note that this procedure may take two to three years.
