Description:The demographic transition of ageing influences currently all European societies, changing the health status of the population. The European health system are inadequately anticipating these challenges, as they cannot react fast enough to provide prevention and adequate promotion of health. In this event we will present the SIENHA framework of professional competences for healthy ageing as a tool to improve the workforce preparation to promote healthy ageing across the lifespan.
