Description:This is a lecture with 5th year medical students about stigma in psychiatry. Mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorder and personality disorder create negative images of people with mental health problems that give rise to the stigmatizing attitude. The goal is to discuss current issues related to stigma as a public health problem.
