Event type: | Discussion |
Event format: | In-person |
Description: | A discussion will be held with second-year nursing students (20 participants), focusing on social health inequalities—particularly disparities in access to healthcare services and the organization of care for young children.
The primary aim is to analyze the structure and delivery of healthcare services for children in early childhood, with a focus on identifying inequalities and exploring the factors that contribute to them.
Discussion Topics:
What differences exist in health determinants and healthcare provision for newborns and children up to the age of three?
Are there noticeable disparities based on place of residence (e.g., urban vs. rural)?
Do health outcomes or access to care vary by ethnic background?
Have students encountered such inequalities during clinical practice or in their home communities?
What strategies and roles can nurses adopt to help reduce inequalities and improve the quality of care for young children? |
