Call for Abstracts: 17th European Public Health Conference – ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT 

• We invite all section members to submit an abstract for the 17th European Public Health Conference, taking place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 13-15 November 2024. The conference theme is "Sailing the waves of European public health: exploring a sea of innovation." Please submit your abstract by 1 May 2024 at 18:00 CET through our conference website: https://ephconference.eu/abstract-submission-10. Don't miss this opportunity to showcase your work, learn from experts, and connect with colleagues from different disciplines and countries.

European Public Health Week (EUPHW)

• We are fast approaching the European Public Health Week (EUPHW), an event designed to increase public health consciousness and foster cooperation among Europe's public health professionals. The 2024 European Public Health Week is scheduled for 13-17 May, with the overall theme "Health is a political choice!"
• Get involved! Each day will focus on a unique daily topic. The 2024 European Public Health Week daily themes are:
  • Monday, May 13th: Health is a political choice: Starting the discussion
  • Tuesday, May 14th: Mental health: People at the centre
  • Wednesday, May 15th: Planetary health: A glocal approach
  • Thursday, May 16th: Health through the life course: Breaking down silos
  • Friday, May 17th: Next generation: Public health of today and tomorrow
• You can plan and host your own event(s) for one or multiple days during the week by submitting here.
