Description: | Climate change is driving rising rates of eco-anxiety, powerlessness, and isolation—especially among youth and frontline advocates. Strengthening public health resilience means addressing these emotional and psychological risks. In this interactive session, Joshua Freedman and Ilaria Iseppato from Six Seconds will introduce the Climate of Emotions (COE) program, an evidence-based intervention blending emotional intelligence and psychosocial tools. Participants will engage in a story exchange and get practical tools to reduce burnout, isolation, and hopelessness. This session offers innovative strategies to build mental health and community resilience as essential components of climate and health adaptation. |
