| Description: | Many people with the same disease experience very different health outcomes—not because of clinical factors, but due to social and economic barriers such as poverty, low education, discrimination, or geographic exclusion. Addressing these structural determinants is essential to achieving health equity. Healthcare alone is not enough: we need integrated policies, targeted interventions, and accessible, culturally competent services. Promoting health equity is a shared responsibility and a core priority for public health. |
