Summer 2024, heat stressed well-being, heavy rainfall destroyed and jeopardised livelihoods, affected people's health and posed new challenges for nursing care and its settings. Together with Monika Sorko (Community Nurse, Neulengbach) and Petra Schmidt (Head of Health, Operations and Social Affairs, Austrian Red Cross), this topic will be examined in the context of disaster management by
1. presenting the practical experiences from Neulengbach (Lower Austria)
2. discussing in dialogue the interfaces between professions, requirements and qualifications
