here is comprehensive update from the EUPHA Health Promotion Section.

- You can submit your abstract to the World Congress on Public Health until the 15^th of December (extended) that will take place in Rome (May 15 to 19, 2023). Registrations are opened here

- The call for abstracts is open until the 15th January for the 10th Nordic Health Promotion Research Conference titled ”Sustainability and the impact on health and well-being”

- EUPHA Health Promotion Section is actively engaged in the health promotion of those directly affected by the war in Ukraine. After our survey, some members have shared their perspectives on this topic, and we would like to establish an agenda for this. Therefore we are pleased to invite you to attend our discussion next 12 of January here 12.00h (Paris time, ID: 822 9163 7202 Password: 561332). This is of the most relevance and we would like to hear from you on how – as a section – we may bring a relevant contribution in this domain. Please leave your ideas here and participate in the open brainstorm meeting the 12 of January 12h00.

2) We`d be more than happy to facilitate members in preparing submissions for EPH 2023:

The next European Public Health Conference will be in Dublin, Ireland, 8-11 November 2023, under the topic “Our Food, Our Health, Our Earth: A Sustainable Future for Humanity”. Our Section is planning to organize a Pre-conference and to submit a couple of workshops for it. We`d be more than happy to facilitate members in preparing submissions. If any member would like to be part of a Health Promotion Section workshop or organize one with the Section support, please send us a proposal here by the 25th of January. Please specify (1) your name, (2) contact details including institution, (3) topic and rational for the proposal, and finally, (4) the abstract of your submission. We will try to compile workshops from received abstracts. If you are interested in getting in touch with other colleagues of the Section, please send us your interest of participation no later than the 25 January, 2023, by completing this form.
