Dear colleagues,

We just want to remind you that we will be organizing a webinar tomorrow 25.05.2023 from 14:00h - 16:00h.

The webinar is titled: Organisational and professional health literacy: What is it and why is it important?

The EUPHA Health Literacy Section is co-organizer of this event with the Karolinska Institute`s Aging Research Center and the Swedish Health Literacy Network being the main hosts. Further partners are the WHO M-POHL Action Network and Technical University of Munich.

International speakers and health literacy researchers Diane Levin-Zamir (IL), Robert Griebler (AT), Christina Dietscher (AT), Saskia Maria De Gani (SWI), and Christopher Le (NO) will discuss following topics:

  • What is health literacy & why is it important?
  • Introduction to the European health literacy survey & the Action Network on.
  • Measuring Population & Organizational Health Literacy of WHO Europe (M-POHL).
  • Organisational health literacy at hospitals.
  • Organisational health literacy in primary care.
  • Professional health literacy.
  • Health literacy policies.
