OHL-ALL symposium on Organizational Health Literacy: debrief

In November 2023, the OHL-ALL symposium on Organizational Health Literacy (OHL) was held in Roskilde Denmark, hosted by Steno Diabetes Center Sjælland (SDCS) and Aarhus University and co-organized by EUPHA-HL and the WHO M-POHL network.

Watch the video on the symposium here.

The symposium had as its aims to summarize and further develop a theory-based and action-oriented approach of OHL for organizations, and to support people in vulnerable positions with or at risk for diabetes or other NCDs.
The focus was on organizations and their staff, leadership, cultures and practices. In other words, the focus was on organizational change for agency to improve equity in health.
As the next step the work will focus with practical implementation and testing and you are invited to participate in that work.
