Dear Section members,

In about four weeks we will meet for 16th European Public Health Conference 2023 between November 8-11 in Dublin, Ireland. Please make sure to register for our pre-conference on Wednesday 8 November, 9:00 – 12:30 Dublin time, followed by a networking lunch.

The pre-conference will be organized by EUPHA - European Public Health Association Sections #HealthLiteracy and #PHMR together with Technische Universität München, Sciensano, and World Health Organization #InfodemicManagement. The pre-conference topic and title is:

A guideline to the European Health Data Space language based on health literacy principles

If you have not registered yet, please make sure to register.

We have great speakers joining us, e.g., Kristine Sørensen, Tina D. Purnat, Nienke Schutte, and sharing valuable insights into health information, health literacy, information monitoring and management. Make sure to not miss our event!

The objectives of our pre-conference are to:

  • bring awareness to the changing environment due to digital transformation and the change in concepts this has triggered;
  • bring some concepts to the table that are in the EHDS regulation which will need to be implemented;
  • form a bridge between citizens and researchers;
  • provide practical recommendations to professionals on how to improve the health literacy of citizens.

See the complete pre-conference programme here.

See the agenda with speakers and topics here.

More information on the European Health Data Space can be accessed here.

Again, if you have not registered yet, please make sure to register here - for both our pre-conference and EPHC2023.

We are looking forward to meet many of you in person.
