From my end as president of our Chronic Disease section I have 2 brief notices for you.

Firstly, I wish ro invite you to the following Global virtual event:

'We are now a week away from our virtual Global Summit 2022  “Taking actions: implementing efficiency in cancer care

o15 June 2022 at 14.30-17.30 and 16 June 2022 at 9.30-12.30 CEST.

With 26 panelists and more than 230 people already registered, we expect high-level debates and hope to conclude the summit with concrete, actionable steps, and a strong vision towards the improvement of efficiency of cancer care around the globe.

This year’s summit will take a step forward from last year’s summit and explore concrete ways to overcome cancer care efficiencies by hearing from key opinion leaders in the field of cancer care, and showcasing best practices from around the world, including Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, Poland, Australia, Belgium and Nigeria.

Over the course of two days, our 26 panelists will exchange around:

  1. Empowering & partnering with people
  2. Investing in efficient technology
  3. Implementing a data-driven learning system
  4. Supporting healthcare professionals

Secondly, I want to remind you about progress regarding the European Public Health Conference for 2022 due to be held in Berlin between the 9th and 12th of November. 

The number of submissions of abstracts hit a record high this year and we are hoping to be able to enjoy the benefits of meeting face to face.
