Dear Section members,

we are happy to announce that with we will be hosting the first EUPHA Spring School on Translational Health Services Research Methods for Public Health Professionals (HSRM) in Granada, Spain from June 17^th to June 21^st 2024, organized with the support of the EUPHA Office and the endorsement of many EUPHA fellow sections.

This initiative builds on our sucessfull pre-conference presented at the European Public Health Conference (EPH) in November 2022 in Berlin (EUPHA-HSR; EUPHA-HIA, EUPHA-HTA, EUPHA-EPI, EUPHA-ECO and EUPHA-PHPP) as well as on our international Global Dialogue Workshop presented at the World Conference of Public Health (WCPH) in Rome in May 2023. The 2024 EUPHA-Spring School features faculty from the EUPHA Sections Health Services Research, Health Impact Assessment, Health Technology Assessment, Public health economics, Foresight and Public health policy and politics. It is supported by the EUPHA-Sections on Public health epidemiology Chronic Disease Control and Public Health Monitoring and Reporting, as well as EUPHANext.

The EUPHA-HSRM Spring School is a five day in-person meeting for public health professionals who would like to deepen their skills in various research methods.

The aim of the EUPHA-HSRM Spring School is:

• to present and share health services research (HSR) methods most frequently used in the various disciplines relevant for public health;
• to broaden and deepen the knowledge on methods and methodologies;
• to explore answers to complex questions on how to improve public health;
• understand how to apply research methods to solve real public health problems from the participants.

The EUPHA-HSRM Spring School for public health practitioners and researches from public health institutes working towards solving questions from practice.

With the support of the EUPHA office, the Junta de Andalucia and Granada University the 2024 fist edition of our EUPHA-HSRM Spring School will be free of charge for all accepted participants. We will provide lectures, materials, catering and social events but participants will have to cover own travel and accommodation.
