NOVA National School of Public Health (NOVA NSPH)

For 25 years in the NOVA University of Lisbon and with more than 50 years of history, the National School of Public Health (NOVA NSPH) is a reference institution in post-graduate teaching, research and the creation of value for the society in the area of public health, three of our mission’s pillars.

By responding to current public health challenges and opportunities and with a recognized and qualified teaching staff, the NOVA NSPH offers teaching of excellence and rigorous programs continuously designed and assessed by partners and employers.

The School develops highly competitive and innovative scientific research focused on the creation of knowledge that can be placed in service of the improvement of the health of populations via our Public Health Research Centre. The School also integrates the Comprehensive Health Research Centre focused on clinical, public health and health services areas.

NOVA NSPH actively contributes for the creation of value for health, science and the society through the development of national and international partnerships. We provide relevant services to the community, involve public and private institutions in the resolution of specific health problems of the Portuguese people.

NOVA joined EUPHA in June 2020.
