Welcome to the May edition of the EUPHAnxt newsletter. As a reminder, we distribute our monthly newsletter on the first Monday of each month (although this issue was delayed slightly due to the bank holiday). Please scroll down to the EUPHAnxt team updates, as we have some very exciting news to share with you! Each newsletter will provide an overview of the upcoming months, including EUPHAnxt events and other opportunities, like the European Public Health Week and the European Public Health Conference (EPH).
Check it out! During the EPH each year, our conference fellows interview key public health individuals to gain insight to their area of expertise. EUPHAnxt fellow Jack Haywood interviewed Marius Ungureanu, President of the EUPHA Health and Care Workforce Section during the European Public Health Conference in Lisbon, Portugal 2024, which is now available for viewing here.
For those of you who are new, EUPHAnxt is a unique network within EUPHA for students and young professionals, including early-career researchers and policymakers in the field of public health. EUPHAnxt is a free and open initiative that aims to inform and involve future generations in the European and multidisciplinary network of public health associations.
You are encouraged to share related opportunities and events with us, and we would be pleased to disseminate them to our network. EUPHAnxt is open to partnering with student organisations in Europe. If you are a part of an organisation that may be interested in joining forces, please contact us.
