European Health Union Priority Programme (EHUPP) at EPH Conference 2026

At the 19th European Public Health Conference in Bilbao, 10 to 13 November 2026, the European Health Union Priority Programme brings EU health policy and public health evidence into the same room. Researchers, policymakers, practitioners, civil society and early-career professionals from across Europe meet to discuss what the EU is doing on health, and what the evidence says it should do next.

  • Project: European Health Union Priority Programme at EPH Conference 2026 (EHUPP)

  • Duration: 1 March 2026 to 28 February 2027

  • Coordinator and sole beneficiary: European Public Health Association (EUPHA), Otterstraat 118-124, 3500 BN Utrecht, The Netherlands, [email protected]

  • Granting authority: European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA)

  • This project is funded by the European Union under grant agreement 101314900 of the EU4Health Programme.

  • Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HADEA). Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.

The European Public Health Conference is the annual meeting point for researchers, policymakers, practitioners, civil society and early-career professionals in public health across Europe. Within it, EHUPP is a set of sessions, workshops and a high-level plenary focused on EU4Health priorities. It aims to:

  • strengthen understanding of EU4Health priorities among a broad public health audience
  • support exchange between EU institutions, Member States and stakeholders on implementation
  • offer a neutral, evidence-informed space to discuss European Health Union objectives
  • share the results of EU-funded health actions more widely

FAQs

What does it mean if my session is part of EHUPP

Your session was already accepted into the EPH 2026 programme through peer review. Being part of EHUPP means it is also highlighted as linked to an EU4Health priority: it appears on these pages, in the EHUP leaflet and in our communication, and its key messages may feed into EHUP policy briefs and the EPH Statement. We only include sessions whose speakers have agreed. Nothing changes in your time slot or format.

Does this mean my research reflects an EU policy position?

No. EHUPP is co-funded by the EU, but the views expressed in sessions are those of the speakers. Neither the European Union nor HaDEA can be held responsible for them.

Who do I contact with questions?

The EUPHA office: [email protected]
