Dear Colleagues and Members,

We are happy to inform you that the Foresight Section is starting a webinar series. These 1-hour webinar will address various topics to open discussions about the use of foresight in policy making and other topics related to foresight methodologies to build capacity in the field. The EUPHA Foresight Section wants to actively bring together professionals, experts, and policy makers to share their knowledge and experiences in Foresight.

Our first Webinar: “How can policymakers incorporate uncertainty (as modelled through foresight) into policy evaluation?” will be hosted by Dr. Ana Vieira, Assistant Professor of the Centro de Estudos de Gestão do instituto Superior Técnico, in Portugal. This Webinar will present a socio-technical framework to measure the desirability of public policies and their doability applied in Lisbon’s urban health policymaking settings and discuss insights regarding the role of scenario analysis in the appraisal and selection of policies.
