EUPHAnxt launches the 4th edition of the Mentoring Programme

Following the successful completion of its first three editions, EUPHA-EUPHAnxt will launch the 4th edition of the EUPHAnxt Mentoring Programme this autumn.

The EUPHAnxt Mentoring Programme aims to connect the next generation of European public health professionals with more experienced professionals in the field, while providing students and young public health professionals with an opportunity to expand their professional networks and develop meaningful professional relationships.

The programme offers participants the opportunity to engage with more established professionals in public health, exchange experiences, gain insights into different career paths, and receive guidance as they develop their professional journey. It also provides an opportunity to learn, grow and connect with peers from across the European Region, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration among the next generation of public health professionals.

The mentoring programme has a duration of six months, with at least one meeting every month between the mentee and their mentor. In addition to these mentoring meetings, participants will also have the opportunity to take part in programme-wide activities and meetings with the whole cohort, creating further opportunities for networking, peer learning and exchange.

Depending on the preferences of the mentor and mentee and on the outcome of the matchmaking process, the mentoring experience can be organised either as an individual experience or as a group activity involving up to three or four participants.

Following three successful editions, the programme continues to provide a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange, professional development and networking within the European public health community.
