EUPHA is selected to be member of the Civil Society Forum of the European Health Emergency preparedness and Response Authority (HERA). This Forum is a sub-group of the HERA Advisory Forum. The appointment is for three years.
As member of the Forum, EUPHA will bring the public health perspective to the table and represent our members, including national public health associations and societies in Europe. Our EUPHA Infectious diseases control section president, Dr. Ricardo Mexia, will be the EUPHA representative at the Forum. The first meeting of the Forum will take place at the end of June 2022. We are looking forward to this collaboration and providing valuable inputs to HERA’s mission to prevent, detect, and rapidly respond to health emergencies.
