University of Debrecen

The University of Debrecen is one of the oldest higher education institutions of Hungary with more than 30,000 students studying at 14 faculties, including Faculty of Public Health. With the effective support of the University and influential leadership of former rectors and deans the Faculty became a unique and internationally recognized beacon for public health research. The aim of the University (and the Faculty) is to become a hub for medical sciences committed to the prevention and restoration of health with special attention to interdisciplinary studies.

The University of Debrecen joined EUPHA in 2020 which marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Faculty.
