We have identified four EUPHA sections to participate in this survey, i.e. Migrant and ethnic minority health section, Sexual and gender minority health section, Social security, work and health section, and Public mental health section.

Please find the invitation to participate in the message below.

Kind regards,

Dear Colleague,

We would like to invite you, or a representative from your organisation, to complete a survey for the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC). Our 10-question qualitative survey aims to identify good practices and lessons learned in ongoing or recent work that has supported two broad groups of people living in the EU/EEA and the UK:

  1. People who are medically vulnerable to severe COVID-related disease; and
  2. People who are living in socially vulnerable situations, whose difficulties may be exacerbated by the restrictions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We hope to receive responses from civil society organisations, networks, NGOs, and religious organisations as well as from national and regional authorities. The collected responses will be synthesised and the findings then developed into guidance documents for publication that we hope will be of use throughout Europe.

You can access the survey here:

https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/ECDCVulnerablePopulationsSurvey2020

Please feel free to forward this link to any organisation that you know is providing support for vulnerable populations so that we may collect as many good practices as possible.

The deadline for completing the survey is 16.00 CET, June 1 2020. If you have any questions or concerns about the survey, please contact PHE.Support.Response@ecdc.europa.eu.

You can access the privacy statement concerning the use of your personal data here

Thank you in advance for your valuable contribution.

With kind regards,

ECDC Public Health Emergency team
