Dear section colleagues and friends

here is comprehensive update from the EUPHA Health Promotion Section.

1) We are there: Dublin is just in two months and we will meet in this beautiful city for the European Public Health Conference (EPH 2023) focusing on Our Food, Our Health, Our Earth: A Sustainable Future for Humanity.

Our pre-conference and workshops were accepted and we would like to invite you to register (if you have not done that yet!) and join us here

2) Time to upgrade and have Health Promotion pillars to a higher level of impact. Register today and be part of the solution for sustainability with the course “Health literacy and Healthy Lifestyles: from theory to practice!

This online course aims to explore the role health literacy has in terms of lifestyles towards sustainability. This micro-accreditation (10 ECTS) is the first level of an academic program that, to be developed at three levels, aims to support the deepening of the articulation between lifestyles and health. Information about the HEalthy LIfestyles & Health Literacy Chair Academy (HeLiCA) can be found online here. Enrollment and registrations are carried out until the 23 of September 2023 and exclusively online here

3) Abstracts are now ready to be accepted for the 12th IUHPE European Conference on Health Promotion (17-18.06.2024) & the 7th International Conference on Salutogenesis (19-20.06.2024). For detailed information regarding presentation formats, topics and structure of the abstracts, please refer to the call for abstracts: 12th European Conference on Health Promotion / 7th International Conference on Salutogenesis.

4) We would like to remind you that we will be having elections according to the EUPHA Section Rules for a new president of our section. We are looking for persons, who are EUPHA members, have working experiences in the field of public health and health promotion. A description of the tasks of the section president can be found here and you are welcome to participate in this election process following the invitation letter sent previously.
