Increase Health Promotion in all settings and policies by forwarding this EUPHA.HP.N&N message to politicians, policy makers, colleagues, students, corporations, NGOs or anyone interested in the referred topics

Dear section colleagues and friends

here is comprehensive update from the EUPHA Health Promotion Section.

1) EUPHA Health Promotion Section manifests its deepest feelings of empathy towards those that are today under the terrific consequences of the war that is devastating Ukraine. The health promotion of those directly affected is of the most relevance and we would like to hear from you on how – as a section – we may bring a relevant influence in this domain. Please leave your ideas here.

2) 15th European Public Health Conference 2022 (Berlin EPH 2022):

This week after two years of online conferences we finally can meet! Our section is organizing one pre-conference and several workshops for EPH 2022 and we would like to be facilitators to our section members in their plans to improve their networking. Therefore if you would like to participate in the pre-conference or workshops, please find further info here and register here

3) You are very welcome to attend the health Promotion Section business meeting in Berlin, Friday 11 Nov (location PL3, Time: 10:30 - 11:30) We`d be more than happy to meet together as we plan ahead our next year's activities

If you are not able to attend the Health Promotion Section business meeting, you can still participate by sending us your suggestions and ideas here by the 10th of Nov and/or joining us on line here (ID: 822 9163 7202; Pass: 561332). We will compile ideas from our members and share them in our meeting.

We have also the business meeting of the Working Group on health literacy Friday 21 Nov, location PL4 Time 14:00 – 15:00

4 Lifestyles, health literacy: from theory to practice!” – registrations are open (www.helica.net)

This online course – "Lifestyles and Health Literacy: from theory to practice" aims to explore the role health literacy has in terms of lifestyles. This micro-accreditation (10 ECTS) is the first level of an academic program that, to be developed at three levels, aims to support the deepening of the articulation between lifestyles and health. Information about the HEalthy LIfestyles & Health Literacy Chair Academy (HeLiCA) can be found online here. Enrollment and registrations are carried out until the 15 of May 2023 and exclusively online here
