Dear section colleagues and friends here is comprehensive update from the EUPHA Health Promotion Section. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- EUPHA Health Promotion Section manifests its deepest feelings of empathy towards those that are today under the terrific consequences of the war that is devastating Ukraine. The health promotion of those directly affected is of the most relevance and we would like to hear from you on how – as a section – we may bring a relevant influence in this domain. Please save your ideas here. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - 15th European Public Health Conference 2022 (EPH 2022): Submissions for the 15th European Public Health Conference 2021 (EPH 2021, from 9-12 November 2022) will close in two weeks (1 May 2021). The title of this year`s conference is “Strengthening health systems: improving population health and being prepared for the unexpected” (please find further info here) We`d be more than happy to facilitate members in preparing submissions for EPH 2022: Our Section will organize a Pre-conference and we are also planning to submit a couple of workshops for the EPH 2022. We`d be more than happy to facilitate members in preparing submissions. If any member would like to be part of a Health Promotion Section workshop or organize one with the Section support, please send us a proposal here by the 20th of March. Please specify (1) your name, (2) contact details including institution, (3) topic and rational for the proposal, and finally, (4) the abstract of your submission. We will try to compile workshops from received abstracts. If you are interested in getting in touch with other colleagues of the Section, please send us your interest of participation no later than the 20 March by completing this form. (Note: This does not replace or substitute your individual submissions - you can submit individual abstract directly here). - Get involved in the European Public Health Week The European Public Health Week (from the 16-20 May 2022 " Health throughout the life course " is the right place for you to organise your own online event(s) on one or more days of the week. Please fill in the event submission form by 6 May 2021. - 24th World Conference on Health Promotion From May 15 to 19, IUHPE welcomes to the 24th World Conference on Health Promotion, which will be held virtually in the digital realm.
