Call for Volunteers for the Section Steering Committee

As a steering committee we would like to strive for a gender, geographical and career-level balance among our committee and activities. In fact, we are seeking to expand the section’s steering committee. If you are interested in joining, please send an email to saverio.stranges@uwo.ca with your CV and a cover letter outlining your potential contributions to the section. Steering Committee members are expected to have an established practical or publishing track record in the public health chronic diseases field, and the ability to enhance and support the section's activities throughout the year and during the conference. Being a usual attendee of the EPH Conference and a EUPHA member is highly recommended. As a minimum, being a part of the Steering Committee involves virtual meeting 2-4 times per year to provide advice on the section’s strategy, workplan, and activities.

Announcement

Lastly, it is with great pleasure to welcome Prof. Julian Mamo as the second vice-president for the section, who together with Dr. Sarah Cuschieri (vice-president) and Prof. Saverio Stranges (president) will be spearheading this section along with the steering committee.

Looking forward to connecting with you soon!

Best wishes,
Sarah, Julian and Saverio
