Our CAPH 2022 highlights:

Dear CAPH members,

We are thrilled to announce important upcoming events in May 2023: European Public Health Week and Abstract submissions for the 16th European Public Health Conference, Dublin 2023!

European Public Health Week 2023

The European Public Health Week 2023 will take place from May 22 to May 26, 2023. This year's theme is "Public health: Global issues, local actions", and we are excited to see how it will connect public health professionals, policymakers, researchers, and citizens from all over Europe.

The European Public Health Week is an amazing opportunity to raise awareness and promote public health initiatives that contribute to building a healthier and more equitable society. The event will feature various sessions and each day of the week will have its own daily theme:

Our section focuses on Child and Adolescent Public Health, and we encourage everyone to join us in this momentous mission. If you are interested in creating webinars, workshops, or online events that align with our topic during European Public Health Week, please reach out to us. We would be more than happy to provide you with information and support in organizing your event.

If you want to have the newest updates about the European Public Health Week, subscribe to our newsletter by sending us an e-mail: EUPHAcommunications@eupha.org

Abstract submissions: 16th European Public Health Conference

The 16th European Public Health Conference, themed "Our Food, Our Health, Our Earth: A Sustainable Future for Humanity", is getting closer, and we are very much looking forward to seeing many of you in Dublin from 8-11 November 2023.

CAPH EVENTS AT EPH 2023:

  • CAPH section will host "Join the Network" sessions and workshops, so please join us for an open discussion on how we, as public health professionals, can work for child and adolescent health improvement.
  • In addition, each year, we have committed to supporting an 'Engaging the Unheard stakeholder' workshop to promote the voices and participation of young people under age 25 in practice and policy.
  • Other digital health and health literacy workshops are being developed with other Sections (Mental health, Digital health) and the health literacy working group.

Don't forget that the abstract deadline is May 1st 2023, at 18:00 CET. More information here

STAKEHOLDER SPOTLIGHT: Reminiscing the 15th European Public Health Conference in Berlin 2022, you can read here the reflections of Lysander Slyngborg regarding the Skills building seminar: Children and young people: engaging the unheard stakeholder. Read the summary here.
