Dear colleagues,

sorry about the confusion - the call for abstracts for the mental health workshop at the EPH conference 2021 year was extended to the 21st of April. We are looking forward to your abstracts.

Workshop Topic:   IMPACT OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND CONTAINMENT MEASURES ON THE MENTAL HEALTH OF ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG ADULTS:  EVIDENCE AND ACTIONS

The aim of this workshop is three-fold:

  1. Present evidence of the health impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on young people’s mental health.
  2. Identify the imminent, COVID-related, and long-term action needed to address mental health issues in this age group adequately.
  3. Discuss among participants the COVID dilemma of necessary actions to contain the virus leads to health impact elsewhere and potential solutions.

Workshop duration: 60 min.
We aim to include four presentations of each 10 minutes max. and 20 minutes discussion.

If you are interested in presenting in this workshop, please send your abstract of max. 2,000 characters, (including spaces but excluding title and authors’ information) by 21st April 2021 to Julia.Dratva@zhaw.ch

We will inform you on our decision by the 27th of April 2021. Please note that all presenters need to register for the congress (https://ephconference.eu/dublin-2021-186) once our workshop has been accepted.

Best regards,
