Dear Chronic diseases section members,

We are excited to share the highlights from a busy and productive June.

Successful First International Symposium on Multi-Morbidity

We are thrilled to announce the success of our first International Symposium on Multi-Morbidity, held on June 26-27 at Santé Publique France (SpF) in Paris. This event brought together experts and professionals from across Europe and beyond, both on-site and online. The symposium provided a platform for insightful discussions on various key aspects of multi-morbidity. Moving forward, we are committed to advancing this crucial topic through a series of viewpoint articles and positional paper in the coming months.

Upcoming European Public Health Conference

We are pleased to inform you that several abstracts and workshops from our section have been accepted for presentation at the European Public Health Conference, scheduled for November in Lisbon. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our work and engage with the broader public health community.

Monthly Webinars to Re-Start in September

Mark your calendars! Our monthly webinars will resume on September 26th. We are honored to have Antonio Sarría-Santamera as our first speaker, presenting on "The Need to Accelerate Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases in Central Asia." This promises to be an insightful and impactful session. To register click here.

Get Involved!

We encourage all members to share any ideas or proposals that our section can act upon. Your input is invaluable to our continued success and impact. Please feel free to contact us with your suggestions.

Wishing you all a wonderful summer!
