Dear section members,
The Public health monitoring and reporting section president, Petronille Bogaert, has chosen not to go for a second term of three years. We therefore put out this call for nominees for the EUPHA-PHMR presidency.
We are looking for a person who is a member of EUPHA, who has working experiences in the field of monitoring and reporting and ideally works in a public health institute. The appointment is for a term of three years with the option of renomination for a second three-year term. The EUPHA-PHMR presidency is a great opportunity to collaborate with various European health information experts.

Any costs for travel and requested attendance to meetings/conferences is reimbursed by EUPHA.
Are you interested to become the next EUPHA-PHMR president? Please send a meaningful motivation letter and your CV until Friday 29 September at noon CEST 2023 to (subject EUPHA-PHMR presidency).
What happens next?
- applicants are checked by the EUPHA office for EUPHA membership and conflict of interest.
- applications of nominees are forwarded to section members for voting;
- the votes of the section members are collected centrally at the EUPHA office by means of an anonymous Google form;
- the applicant with the highest number of votes is elected as Section President.
- the section presidency starts after the EPH Conference.
The vice-president is nominated by the new section president along with the EUPHA-PHMR Steering Group.
