Dear colleagues,

Greetings!  Yesterday and today, we participated in the Section Council Meeting. During these two days, we collaborated with other EUPHA Sections and fine-tuned our work plan for the year, including our contributions to the upcoming conference.

Thank you to those of you who have already reached out to us after our first December newsletter and shared ideas and proposals for HSR workshops and pre-conference submissions for EPH 2026.  We will continue refining these plans.

Best regards,
Lorena Dini, Charité Berlin, Germany and Filippo Quattrone – Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies Pisa, Italy

In preparation for the EPH Conference 2026 in Bilbao, the EUPHA Health Services Research Section invites members to share ideas, abstracts and expressions of interest for workshops and pre-conference sessions.

As in previous years, the section aims to develop and submit several section-initiated workshop proposals bringing together contributions in health services research and related fields. If you are interested in being part of a coordinated HSR workshop proposal, we encourage you to contact the section leadership in advance.

Please send a short description of your idea or an abstract to: THSR@charite.de.

The section leadership will review the received contributions and help organise them into thematic proposals to be submitted on behalf of the HSR section.

More information on formatting and the general submission process is available on the EPH Conference website.

Indicative deadline: 31 March 2026
