Abstract results for the European Publich Health Conference 2025 in Helsinki are available now. Below, we are copying the original message sent out by Jose Velthuis on behalf of the organizing committee. Please also see submissions by the Section that were accepted:

  • WS-SciS-PK: Adopting a global agenda for school health literacy: latest developments from the WHO and Europe (tba)
  • WS-SciS-PK: Erosion of health authorities as a menacing phenomenon disrupting information ecosystems of youth (tba)
  • WS-SciS-PK: Bridging the gap between public health and emergency medicine: why and how? (tba)
    JTN21: Health literacy – Join the network (tba)

Tba means that we will include the date/time once the programme has been published. Please do let us know of any submission relating to health literacy that was accepted. Like every year, we will prepare an overview of all health literacy events happening at EPHC. Please read the below information carefully and do not forget to register in time. Last year, the conference was overbooked, which is why some could not join us in Lisbon. Best thing, you register asap if your abstract was accepted!

Abstract results now available

The results of your submission are now online. To check the status of your workshop abstract, please log into your personal EPH Conference account:
https://ephconference.eu/cgi-files/mem_db.cgi

This year, the International Scientific Committee reviewed 291 workshop abstracts with final decisions made by the EPH Conference Executive Board. If your workshop has been accepted, you may make final edits until 15 July 2025. After this date, no changes will be possible.

Details on scoring and next steps are available on the EPH Conference website (https://ephconference.eu/abstract-decisions-112)

What happens next?

If your workshop is accepted:

  1. Please inform all presenters they must register by 15 July.
    Presenters should register using the same email address included in the submission. If a presenter has a different account or email, please contact us via abstract@ephconference.eu.
  2. As the workshop organiser, you must confirm in your personal account that the workshop will be presented and register by 15 July.
    Please make sure you register with the same account that you have submitted your abstract with.

    The full conference programme, including dates and times of workshops, will be published in early July. Keep an eye on the EPH Conference website for updates.
  • Presenting instructions:
    Guidelines for presenters will also be published soon on the website.
