Institute of Public Health at Riga Stradins University

The Institute of Public Health, established in 2017, is dedicated to advancing public health through high-quality education, scientific research, and knowledge dissemination. Our mission is to generate science-based evidence and to train highly qualified specialists who contribute meaningfully to public health policy and practice. As Latvia’s leading public health research institute, we are committed to fostering collaboration and enhancing public health at both national and international levels. Our research covers the entire life course, from early development to old age, with a focus on: health promotion and disease prevention (infectious and non-infectious diseases), epidemiology and biostatistics, health communication and education, healthcare management and economics.
