Humanity is facing a profound policrisis marked by climate change, armed conflicts, pandemics, and deepening inequalities. These deeply interconnected crises have devastating implications for health and well-being of people, the planet and organized efforts of society.
The webinar will reflect on role, mission and mandate of public health professionals; share some ongoing activities of the health community, and reflect and consult on options for further collaboration and lines of action.
The webinar is organized in collaboration with the Health Peace Practitions Alliance and partners and is part of the European Public Health Week (EUPHW) and an initiative to commemorate the UN 40th Anniversary of the International year of peace and consideration of determinants and underlying issues for the polycrisis and creating betterment of the world.
