Hosted by Pace University’s College of Health Professions and Health Systems Global in New York, the seminar will bring together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to discuss how health systems can respond to uncertainty, complexity, and rapid global change. The programme includes a keynote address by Prof. Sara Bennett, Politics and Polycrises: Governance, Financing and Diplomacy in the Face of Conflict and a Changing Global Order, followed by a panel discussion on Plurality and Partnerships: Embracing Diverse Actors, Sectors and Care Modalities.
Virtual Transatlantic Dialogue and Networking (16:45–17:30 CEST)
Following the formal programme, and while participants in New York continue their networking session, the EUPHA Health Services Research Section (EUPHA-HSR) and the Charité CCGH Global Health Policy and Systems Research Group will host a virtual transatlantic dialogue for colleagues joining online from Europe and beyond.
The session will be opened by Charlotte Marchandise, Executive Director of the European Public Health Association (EUPHA), who will offer a European perspective on polycrises and partnerships in politics, science, sectors, and care modalities, building on the themes discussed during the seminar.
Stay for Virtual Coffee and Online Conversations!
This informal session will provide an opportunity to reflect on the seminar themes, exchange perspectives across regions, and connect with colleagues working in health policy and systems research, health services research, and related fields. We hope to foster new conversations, collaborations, and connections across the Atlantic.
