Dr. Mirjam Plantinga

Mirjam Plantinga is associate professor responsible data driven innovation in Healthcare at the University Medical Center Groningen. She is embedded at the department of genetics and the Data Science Centre in Health and leads the ELSA AI Lab Northern Netherlands (ELSA-NN), which focuses on fostering responsible AI in Health, Prevention and Care.

Paula del Rey Puech

Paula del Rey Puech is an NHS Fellow in Clinical AI and a Public Health Resident in London, UK. Over the last 10 years, she has worked across the public, private, and non-profit sectors in health, spanning multiple geographies. Paula is passionate about advancing health equity and social justice by bridging innovation with the building blocks of health. She is particularly interested in ensuring that new health technology solutions are grounded in real-world problems and shaped by the communities they are intended to serve.
