Healthy Habits for Life: School Workshops for Prevention

Invest in interactive school workshops that teach healthy nutrition, lifestyle habits, and cancer prevention; is the future of prevention.

Ensure equal access to practical education that builds strong health literacy from an early age;

Promote daily healthy choices through engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences;

Protect children from misinformation by providing clear, evidence-based guidance;

Empower educators and health professionals to inspire, teach, and lead by example.

Teach how to use technology for health style of life and chose the right nutrition.

Together, we create a future where children, students learn by doing, prevention starts early, and healthy habits last a lifetime.

Goal:

Teach students that healthy food and lifestyle choices are key to disease prevention, building strong health literacy from an early age.

Objectives:

Understand basic nutrition (real vs. ultra-processed foods)

Learn how daily habits affect long-term health

Develop critical thinking to recognize misinformation

Build simple, sustainable healthy routines

Practical experience.

Structure (60–90 min):

Introduction (10 min): Why prevention starts early

Interactive Learning (20 min): Food groups, labels, and choices

Activity (20 min): “Build a healthy plate” or meal challenge

Lifestyle Block (15 min): eating, movement, hydration

Discussion (10 min): Myths vs. facts

Commitment (5 min): One habit to improve this week

Methods:

Games, group work, real-life examples, visual materials and real experience.

Outcome:

Students gain practical knowledge and leave with one clear, achievable healthy habit.
