This online networking event, which originates from the experience of the EUPHAnxt mentoring programme and from the collaboration and peer exchange within the current edition of this programme, brings together young professionals from across the European public health community. Early-career public health professionals , together with members of EUPHAnxt, fellows from mentoring and conference programmes, and participants to the European Health Forum Gastein and the Blue Book Traineeship, will gather for an informal session to (re)connect, exchange ideas, and build new collaborations.
In line with the European Public Health Week theme 'Strengthening and Supporting the Health Workforce', the event aims to empower the next generation of public health professionals by creating a space to meet peers, share experiences, learn about European-level initiatives, and strengthen networks that support career development and collaboration in the public health workforce.
During this online event, participants will join breakout rooms focused on different career pathways in public health leadership, such as academia, policymaking, industry, and international organisations. Each room will be facilitated by an experienced public health professional who will share insights and guide the discussion. Additional breakout rooms will be available for informal peer-to-peer networking, allowing participants to connect freely and exchange experiences without moderation.
