The PERFECTO EU4Health project targets FH paediatric screening to curb premature cardiovascular disease, with a strong emphasis on capacity building via innovative digital tools to boost stakeholder knowledge, health literacy, and screening uptake across Europe, including Cyprus.
This half-day face-to-face workshop, organized by the Cyprus University of Technology, under the auspices of the Cyprus Epidemiology and Public Health Association, the Paediatric Society of Cyprus, and as part of the European Public Health Week, aligns with PERFECTO EU4Health WP3 by enhancing Cypriot clinical professionals’ skills in FH screening and management and leveraging the project's network of experts. The event builds capacity for early detection and management of paediatric cases, showcasing evidence and expertise from the successful Netherlands model and presenting available tools for paediatric screening in Cyprus, based on local gaps identified through WP3.
Participation will be limited to 25-30 registrants for optimal interaction. Participants will be presented with 2.5 hours of continuing education from the Cyprus University of Technology.
The language of the event is English but interactive sessions and Q&As will be facilitated in both English and Greek.
