EUPHW is an open and inclusive platform that welcomes contributions from across the public health community and beyond. Events may be submitted by public health professionals, healthcare providers, researchers and academic institutions, policymakers and public authorities, civil society organisations, student networks, community groups and engaged citizens. Events can be organised at local, national, European or cross-border level, provided they clearly align with one of the official daily themes of EUPHW 2026.
EUPHW welcomes diverse and interactive event formats that foster collaboration across sectors. Events may be organised online, in person or in hybrid format. Whether you are planning a webinar, workshop, policy dialogue, community initiative, awareness campaign, student-led activity, innovation lab or wellbeing session, your event should contribute meaningfully to the selected daily theme and stimulate reflection, exchange or action.
Events may be organised in any language. For international or cross-border initiatives, English is recommended to maximise accessibility. For national or local events, organisers are encouraged to use the language most appropriate for their target audience. Inclusive communication practices and accessible formats are strongly encouraged.
Event organisers are fully responsible for the planning and delivery of their event. This includes securing speakers and moderators, managing registrations (if applicable), ensuring inclusive and respectful participation, and promoting the event through their own networks. Organisers are also expected to use the official EUPHW branding materials to ensure coherent European visibility throughout the Week. You can find all necessary promotional help in the promotional toolkit. Please note that EUPHA does not provide financial support for individual events.
Approved events will be published on the official EUPHW 2026 programme page and may be highlighted through EUPHA newsletters and social media channels as part of coordinated European communication efforts. By submitting an event, organisers become part of a collective European initiative advocating for sustainable health and well-being across Europe.
To submit your event, please complete the online submission form and clearly indicate the relevant daily theme. Provide a concise and informative description, specify the format, language and level (local, national or European), and confirm alignment with the principles of EUPHW 2026. Events must take place between 4–8 May 2026 and comply with the submission criteria outlined above.
