We are very pleased to announce that we have selected six highly qualified fellows for the upcoming EPH conference in Lisbon, Portugal. Please see the EPH Fellows section below to learn more about each fellow.
For those of you who are new to our network, EUPHAnxt is a unique network within EUPHA for students and young professionals, including early career researchers and policymakers in the field of public health. EUPHAnxt is a free and open initiative that aims to inform and involve future generations in the European and multidisciplinary network of public health associations.
You are encouraged to share related opportunities and events with us and we would be pleased to disseminate it to our network. EUPHAnxt is open to partnering with student organisations in Europe. If you are a part of an organisation that may be interested in joining forces, please contact us. We are very happy to announce our very own pre-conference workshop: Empowering Change – Advocacy Strategy & Tools for Early Career Professionals
Young professionals and early-career experts are crucial in identifying innovative solutions to global public health challenges. However, they are often overlooked in public policy and decision-making processes. This interactive pre-conference workshop, “Empowering Change: Advocacy Strategy & Tools for Early Career Professionals,” is organised by EUPHAnxt and EuroNet MRPH and is designed to strengthen public health advocacy among young professionals. Participants will gain hands-on experience in developing and executing digital advocacy strategies, particularly in engaging younger audiences through digital platforms.
- Date: November 12, 2024, 9:00 – 13:30 (Lisbon Time)
- Fee: 20€ (Includes lunch and coffee break)
- Registration deadline: September 20, 2024
- Target Audience: EUPHAnxt members, EuroNet MRPH members, and other young public health professionals (30-35 slots available)

Be sure to register for the welcome reception, which is scheduled on Wednesday, November 13 from 20:00-21:30. The social evening will take place on Thursday evening from 19:30, including dinner and dance, at Estufa Fria. Registration is required. We will be planning another Join the Network session and an informal social evening. More details will be provided next month!
If your abstract was accepted for the conference, you can check when you are scheduled to present by typing in your surname into the conference website. Additionally, the registration fee will increase from September 1, so be sure to register soon and note there are reduced fees for current students and trainees.
