Mental health challenges are shaped by complex interactions between social, community, and healthcare systems, whilst disproportionately affecting vulnerable and in-need populations. In recent years mental health has gained visibility in health services research in Germany.

In this brief session the President of the EUPHA-Health Services Research Section (HSR), Priv. Doz. Dr. med. Lorena Dini together with Prof. Dr. Dr. Martin Härter (Chief Executive-DNVF) will summarise the key take- away messages from the 2026-DNVF Forum and share conclusions and closing remarks of the day.

Public health experts, researchers, and interested members of the public are invited to participate, online, free of charge, in this session. This event is supported by the Working Group DNVF- International Health Service Research.
