The event aims at emphasizing the significance of communication between nurses, children and their family when it comes to forming an attitude towards healthcare. Early childhood is a key period for forming lasting perceptions that influence an individual’s behaviour in adulthood. There will be presented several points which are part of nursing communication with children and their families, as well as the relation between these points and building a positive attitude towards healthcare. The format of the event will be a presentation and discussion with a group of students in the Nursing program.
