The Student Forum is an opportunity for Kaunas city students in grades 9-11 to present their prepared reports related to the issues of psychoactive substances, addiction prevention and possible measures that would reduce the use of psychoactive substances among young people.
The event is intended for students to deepen their knowledge about the problems of psychoactive substance use and share their ideas on how to reduce the use of psychoactive substances among young people and prevent addiction.
The Student Forum strengthens youth health literacy, develops a responsible attitude towards health and encourages active participation in public health issues. By involving young people in discussions about prevention and community well-being, the foundation is laid for future public health leaders and the long-term resilience of the health system is strengthened.
Students must form a team of 3 people, choose a topic and prepare a presentation:
• The problem and prevention of electronic cigarettes;
• The problem and prevention of alcoholic beverages;
• The problem and prevention of narcotic substances;
• The problem and prevention of tobacco products;
• The problem and prevention of sedatives.
