Dear colleagues,

We are happy to share the results of the votes of the Section President elections. 

As you can see Simon Beerten received the vast majority of the votes at 85,6%.

We congratulate Simon and look forward to working with him for the upcoming three years as Section President, starting after the EPH Conference in Helsinki. The handover from Jutta to Simon will take place during the Section’s Join the Network meeting at the EPH Conference on Friday 14 November at 12:55 in Room 15, 1st floor congress wing.

A big thank you as well to Jayati Das-Munshi, Antonis Kousoulis, Hüseyin Küçükali and Frank Wieber for submitting their nominations!

EUPHA also again extends its heartfelt gratitude to Marija Jakubauskiene and particularly Jutta Lindert whom stepped in for Marija. She has been committed to the Section and EUPHA for many years now. Also we sincerely thank Vice-President Johan Bilsen and steering committee members Sally McManus and Matej Vinko for their dedication and contributions to EUPHA and the Section.
