Dear colleagues,

From 18 to 20 September, the International Health Literacy Association (IHLA) is hosting their 2nd Global Health Literacy Summit in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Due to Covid-19, this is actually the first time the Summit is organized as an in-person event!

The Summit is themed Health literacy for people and planet and will focus on a wide array of contemporary health literacy and associated topics. Experts and keynote speakers from all regions will share their insights. Researchers, practictioners, and decision makers will present their latest projects and findings. Public health agencies, health care and patient organizations and associations, educational representatives, universities, research institutions, and many more will offer opportunities to get insights into their daily work. Organizations from all around the world have partnered with IHLA for the Summit and participants can expect a unique health literacy event.

The EUPHA Health Literacy Section is proud to be among the Summit partners. The Summit offers a great platform for EUPHA and IHLA members coming together to discuss matters of health literacy and learn about the developments within the global health literacy community.

The Summit programm can be accessed here.
