Dear colleagues,
I hope this email finds you well.
On behalf of the Division of Country Health Policies and Systems at WHO/EURO, we are pleased to inform you that we have just published the draft document “Strengthening monitoring of population health to signal and address the wider effects of the COVID-19 pandemic” for a public one-month consultation.
WHO/Europe, with the support of several experts, has developed this technical document that aims to strengthen national population health surveillance by providing a tool for Member States to incorporate measuring the wider effects of the COVID-19 pandemic into their national monitoring schemes.
The document and information about this consultation process are available at: https://www.euro.who.int/en/data-and-evidence/evidence-informed-policy-making/publications/2020/have-your-say-on-strengthening-monitoring-of-population-health-to-signal-and-address-the-wider-effects-of-the-covid-19-pandemic-2020
We would be thankful any feedback or comments you may have before 21 December. We would also appreciate your helping us to ensure that this document is widely distributed and reviewed.
Thank you so much.
Best regards,
David
