On 15-16 June, EUPHA’s President Dr. Iveta Nagyova attended the Portuguese national public health congress in Lisbon. The congress was jointly organised by three EUPHA members: the Portuguese Association for the Public Health Promotion (APPSP), the Portuguese Association of Public Health Doctors (ANMSP), and the Portuguese Society of Public Health (SPSP). Dr. Nagyova spoke during the opening session on public health synergies and innovation through behavioural insights and on EUPHA’s work. With 900 participants, the event was a great opportunity for EUPHA to connect with its members and the wider public health community in Portugal.
